An application for a short-term appointment to the St. Paul’s Board of Education is scheduled for March 9.
Steve Marquese resigned to get a job in Seattle after attending his last board meeting on Tuesday.he Announced planned relocation In early January.
The remaining six directors will interview as many as twelve candidates at a special meeting on March 16 to fill Marquez’s seats. They will vote to fill the vacancy after those interviews.
Applicants are required to send a letter of interest and a resume to Assistant Board Clark’s Saladorke by 5 pm on March 9th. Documents can be emailed to email@example.com or mailed to 360 Colborne St.
Appointees will join the board in mid-April unless a large number of voters disagree with the appointment.
The person will serve until the special elections on November 2, with voters deciding who will occupy the Marquese seats by 2023 and electing three more members for a four-year term.
The deadline for submitting elections in November is August 10.
