Corpus Christi, Texas — The Corpus Christi Art Center exhibits the amazing talents of three young artists. The reception was held to showcase all the hard work the artist endured last year to create his work.

All artists are seniors in Texas A & M Corpus Christi. Some of them focused on self-portraits and others chose animals.

Among the notable student artists was Alejandro Ramirez. His exhibition was entitled “Self-centered”. He admits that his art teacher helped inspire him.

“I was worried and trying to come up with different personalities. The more I thought about it, the more I had to explore myself,” Ramirez says. “The latter is really a depiction of my true self.”

Ramirez says he is very grateful for receiving the University of Georgia Graduate School Full Ride Scholarship.

Other notable artists are Chaly Benitez and Samantha Wenson.

The art will continue to be on display until June 6th.
