Portland, Oregon (KOIN) —Governor Kate Brown will hold a press conference to update its ongoing efforts to combat a pandemic while Oregon is moving toward its 70% vaccination rate target. ..

The state needs an additional 93,234 people to be vaccinated to reach the 70% threshold.

On average, Oregon manages 15,761 COVID vaccines per day. To date, 2,303,485 people have received at least one dose.

On Thursday, Oregon reported 370 new confirmed and putative cases of COVID-19. And the total number of states is 204,291. An additional 10 deaths were reported, with the state’s death toll reaching 2,726. Overall, 173 Oregons remain hospitalized for the virus, 41 of whom are in ICU beds.
