Albuquerque, NY — More New Mexico will go out when the COVID-19 restriction is lifted. However, if left in the car, the temperature will be high and dangerous for animals and children.

“The idea is to think of your car like an oven,” said Gabe de Balz, paramedic and education coordinator at the Bernarilo County Fire Department. “When the temperature rises, the air inside the car with children and animals gets very hot.”
