Asheville, NC (WSPA) – Asheville police are asking the general public to help find suspects who want to shoot in a room where children say they are sleeping.

Jeffrey Emmanuel Filson was charged after shooting early in the morning in the room where his two children were sleeping. No one was injured, according to Asheville police.

Investigation revealed that Filson was standing outside his apartment on Livingston Street when he shot at the window on the second floor. According to police, three shell casings were found.

He was charged with the following charges:

  • Fire a gun at an occupied dwelling
  • Attempted assault with a deadly weapon (2 counts)
  • Damage to property
  • Intrusion and attempted intrusion

Detectives are seeking help to find Filson. He is an African-American man, 35 years old, 6 feet 0 inches, about 250 pounds.

They say he has black hair and brown eyes. He has tattoos on the right forearm of “Philson” and the left forearm of “Hard Body”.
