Oklahoma City, Oklahoma — Attorney General Mike Hunter announced today that he will return his Oklahoma hydroxychloroquine stockpile for a refund.
Attorney General Hunter has reached an agreement with FFF Enterprise to return the drug in full paid to the Oklahoma Department of Health.
“I commend the leadership of FFF Enterprises for working with us to return the state’s supply of hydroxychloroquine while making refunds to the state,” said Attorney General Hunter. “They realized that we are competing with all other states in the country to get whatever we can to protect Oklahoman.”
OSDH purchased a stockpile at the beginning of the pandemic after the FDA granted an emergency use authorization for COVID-19 last year.
The FDA has since revoked the emergency use order as the COVID-19 vaccine became more violently available and the number of cases continued to decline.
FFF Enterprises is a private sector pharmaceutical wholesaler based in California.
