Authorities pursue stolen vehicle driving on wrong side of 5 Freeway through L.A. and Orange counties – Anaheim, California

Anaheim, California 2021-11-19 16:05:35 –

The driver is driving on the other side of the five highways in Los Angeles County and Orange County, leading the authorities in tracking stolen vehicles.

Sky5 was overhead after 1:00 pm with a gray Honda heading from Santa Fe Springs to Ramirada. The vehicle then arrived in Orange County from Fullerton to Anaheim.

The tracking driver then boarded the other side of Anaheim’s 5 highways, driving both the shoulder and the HOV lane.

After that, Honda got caught on the shoulder of Buena Park’s 5 Freeway. The driver seems to have paused for a few minutes and waited for a U-turn on the freeway.

Meanwhile, the five highways to the south were closed because police units were pulled up near the car.

The driver then retreated, returning the vehicle in the correct direction in the HOV and shoulder lanes when the policeman pulled the weapon towards the vehicle.

Police had been standing off with the driver for a few minutes before Honda returned to the freeway, but this time it was in the right direction. However, the car stopped almost immediately and three LAPD units were pulled behind it.

The driver accelerated, the patrol unit speeded up, continued to brush up Honda, and went to Beach Boulevard.

The police officer then performed a PIT operation and stopped the car for a short time before it retreated and continued driving again.

The driver went down the road, heading back to Ramirada and then to Fullerton.
