Colorado Springs, Colorado 2021-06-11 17:39:50 –

PUEBLO — The Soaring Eagles Autism Center in Pueblo West is in the final stages of funding. Their birdhouse auction ends on Sunday, June 13th.

Volunteer Tamara Summons said he saw the idea and thought, “It’s really great for us, we were able to involve local artists and everyone got together.”

44 birdhouses have been auctioned Here, And all of them were painted by a local artist in Pueblo.

Lisa Bailey is one of the artists, but she has donated her art to the center for the past six years.

“You can paint. What are you going to do with it? So providing my work of art to the community is memorable!”

The center has a backlog of people in need of service, so they want to use this money to expand.

The full text will air on KOAA tonight at 4 pm and 5 pm.
