The airline Jet Inn plans to start construction on a $ 11 million facility at Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport, the company announced this week.

The project will develop the airport’s last greenfield site, the 504 E Citation Way, and will be a general aviation project with a heated hangar and terminals for passengers and crew.

The facility is equipped with a variety of green energy features such as energy efficient heating and cooling, electric fleets for aircraft towing equipment, electric crew and shuttle cars. The new building is designed to comply with the Milwaukee City Green Infrastructure Plan.
