Corpus Christi, Texas — Thursday, a baby bird’s nest was found high above the ground inside the sign at the Goodwill Donation Station in Alameda, near Everhart. This was a surprise to the workers, and operations stopped rapidly.

“I didn’t expect to find these baby birds while exchanging these signs,” said Goodwill South Texas Marjorie Boudreaux, Vice President of Marketing.

Boudreaux and her staff were able to bring the bird to the Texas Sea Life Center. There, workers rehabilitate the animals and return them to their natural environment when they are ready.
