Albuquerque, New Mexico (KRQE) – As the city of Albuquerque feels labor shortages throughout its government operations, city leaders on Tuesday to step up employee recruitment for “needed” government jobs. Will announce new initiatives. Albuquerque Mayor Tim Keller and a dozen other department leaders plan to elaborate on the new initiative at a press conference starting Tuesday at 11:30 am. According to a news release from city officials, the city “encourages residents to start their careers with employment bonuses, competitive wages and good benefits.” City leaders are also expected to outline job vacancies and their department’s unique recruiting activities.
