Police said Thursday that the death of an 18-year-old man in Morel Park, southwestern Baltimore, was sentenced to a post-autopsy murder investigation.
Baltimore police responded to 2500 blocks on Georgetown Road on Wednesday at 7:22 pm and found a man with severe burns near the railroad tracks. According to police, the man identified as Jeremiah Williamson was sentenced to death on the scene.

Williamson’s body was taken to the coroner’s office, where an autopsy was performed. Police were informed Thursday that Williamson had been killed by a bullet in his head and upgraded his case from a suspicious death to a murder.
