Bangladesh’s per capita income increased by $ 233 to $ 2,824 during FY2010.

Bangladesh’s per capita income increased by $ 233 from 2021 to 2010 to $ 2,824, according to a preliminary estimate by the Bangladesh Bureau of Statistics (BBS). Planning Minister MA Mannan recently said this after a meeting of the executive committee of the National Economic Council (NEC). Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina effectively chaired the meeting.

According to Mannan, last year’s (2020-21) per capita income was $ 2,591.

BBS estimates that gross domestic product (GDP) will increase to $ 465 billion (39,76,500 chlores) after the end of the 2021-22 fiscal year. The amount for the 2020-21 fiscal year was $ 416 billion (35,30,200 chlores).

Bangla Media reported that GDP growth reached 7.25% at the end of 2010, which was 6.94% in the previous fiscal year.

Of the three major sectors, monthly growth was 2.20 percent in the agricultural sector, 10.44 percent in the industrial sector and 6.31 percent in the service sector.
