Beaverton Restaurant Week Is an annual event organized by the Beaverton Downtown Association and the Beaverton City Hall to showcase a variety of dishes and increase traffic to the area. This year, 35 independent restaurants such as Bootleggers Whisky Bar and Brickhaus Coffee will be attending the event.

When Comer first started her business, she said it was difficult to get to the ground, but the event helped her get started. She added that she was grateful that she “invited the community and people had a little fun and showed support for other restaurants still here.”

According to the BDA, about 13 restaurants have opened in downtown Beaverton since the outbreak of the pandemic, despite COVID-19 permanently closing some restaurants.
