Albuquerque, New Mexico (KRQE) – Death isn’t exciting for most people to speak, but Before I Die Festival is turning this topic into something more productive than taboo. Festival coordinator Gale Rubin discusses what the festival is and how it darkens the conversation a bit.
For the fifth consecutive year, the Before I Die New Mexico Festival will include face-to-face and online events from October 30th to November 2nd, 2021. The festival is designed to combine elements of entertainment and education to initiate a conversation and encourage individuals to plan ahead. About life issues.
The face-to-face festival event will take place at the Strong-Thorne Mortuary Reception Center at 1100 Coal Ave. SE in Albuquerque. Event topics include real estate and financial planning, obituary writing, downsizing, grief, historical funerals, and other issues.
