Albuquerque, New Mexico (KRQE) – The Albuquerque Adult Learning Center, a non-profit organization that supports undervalued youth and adults, strives to create and support adults through student-focused adult education and career services. Gloria Rael, Executive Director of ABQ-ALC, and Jamie Trujillo, Program Director, highlight the programs they offer.

ABQ-ALC will hold a series of virtual events for the 4th annual fundraiser and silent auction. The event helps to benefit the learners of adult students working to obtain equivalent high school qualifications.

  • December 3, 2021 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm: Twisted painting. $ 100 per person
  • December 10, 2021 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm: Holiday Mixology Tutorial. $ 100 per person

Despite the financial turmoil and problems caused by the pandemic, ABQ-ALC continues to serve undervalued individuals working to improve their lives. By purchasing tickets to one of the events, the community helps organizations assist adult learners, secure remote learning resources, and provide career skill-building support.
