Albuquerque, New Mexico (KRQE) – The University of New Mexico Lobos baseball team in Laboringham looks different when playing against Fresno State University on Saturday. Lobos wears a special jersey to honor the memory of the late Jackie Robinson, who broke the color barrier in the Major League Baseball in 1947.
“Jackie Robinson is not only one of the greatest baseball players of all time, but one of the most exciting people of my life,” said Ray Birmingham, head coach of Lobos. “You know, brave man, great personality, strength.
