BGMEA Encourages Canadian Buyers to Procure Apparel from Bangladesh

Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) urges Canadian buyers to procure more clothing from the country by choosing Bangladesh, a safe, sustainable and ethical source of apparel. Canadian Tire Corporation is a well-known Canadian retailer. BGMEA said in a press note that it had discussed potential Bangladesh business opportunities in the Canadian market at a recent conference in Toronto.

Hassan emphasized the remarkable progress of Bangladesh’s RMG industry in terms of workplace safety, sustainability and ethical manufacturing, and said Bangladesh remains the world’s most popular apparel supplier.
