On Friday, President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden will speak about how the Biden administration is helping to keep students safe in the classroom.

President Joe Biden announced on Thursday a new plan on how to fight the coronavirus pandemic.

Between him speech President Biden has announced to the country a six-part plan to ensure that schools can be safely reopened.

One of the plans was that headstart and early headstart program teachers and staff would need to be vaccinated.

He also demanded masking and vaccine requirements from local-level school teachers and staff.

Nine states, including California, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Oregon, Washington, District of Columbia and Puerto Rico, are now in kindergarten to high school staff. Vaccination is compulsory.

Biden also called on all schools to set up regular COVID-19 inspections consistent with the CDC guidance.

The government also said it would send additional federal support to help schools operate safely, including additional funding for testing.
