Police on the Big Island are looking for a 45-year-old man who has been cross-examined on Thursday for allegedly firing a gunshot at Ainaloa’s neighbor.
According to police, Sean Lee Garigo of Puna is 5 feet, 7 inches, 160 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.
Puna patrol officers responded to calls for neighbor disputes, including gunshots, at Maileway in the Ainaloa district shortly before 3:00 pm.
Police said police had learned that when Garigo swung a pistol and fired, Garigo and his neighbor’s man were arguing in front of Garigo’s residence. No injuries have been reported.
Police said Garigo had fled on foot before police arrived at the scene.
The detective executed a search warrant for his residence on Thursday night and recovered the rifle and ammunition.
