Kansas City, Missouri — Big Slick KC returned in 2021 with a new type of fundraising to support Children’s Mercy Hospital.
The Big Slick KC is usually a weekend full of hospital-beneficial events, with a particular focus on eradicating childhood cancer and pediatric medicine.
The cast of regular characters will be reunited and the second weekend of June will be different.
Since 2010, actors and KC-born Rob Riggle, Paul Rudd, and Jason Sudeikis have come together to raise money for the hospital.
Since then, they have asked actors Eric Stonestreet and David Koechner to participate in the fight against childhood cancer. They usually invite all of their famous friends, such as Will Ferrell, John Ham, and Selena Gomez, to Kansas City to play softball games at Kauffman Stadium and host variety shows at T-Mobile Center.
Since its inception, they have helped raise over $ 12 million.
The 2020 event was forced to virtualize due to the coronavirus pandemic. This group is learning virtual lessons from 2020 to make the 2021 event even better.
It’s called the “Big Slick Virtual Talent Show”.
In the press release, five men and thirty famous faces will post “one hour of completely original work.”
The show’s description includes “Professional performance will be attempted. Hidden skills may be revealed. Raw talent is not guaranteed.”
Made in KC and Big Slick KC are working together to offer exclusive T-shirts that can be purchased on the Big Slick website to help raise $ 50.
The two groups are also creating party packs for groups of 10 to enjoy watching the show. They are available for $ 2,500. For more information Big slick website..
