Gymnasts Simone Biles, Aly Raisman, McKayla Maroney and Maggie Nichols will testify in front of the Senate Judiciary Committee on Wednesday.
The Commission is reviewing the Inspector General’s report on the FBI’s handling of the Larry Nassar investigation.
“At least 70 young women were attacked by him because the FBI did not investigate Larry Nassar,” said Senator Dianne Feinstein. “No one has to endure the horrors these young women have suffered.”
The report states that the investigation was delayed because FBI authorities failed to properly document the whistleblower’s complaint.
Nasar was a team doctor in USA gymnastics, pleading guilty to abusing dozens of women and girls for 20 years.
He was sentenced to more than 200 years in federal prison.
