Blackwall Street has officially landed on the National Register of Historic Places. The list covers 100 blocks on North Greenwood Avenue in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Prior to the Tulsa race 100 years ago, the area was a prosperous black community. The National Register of Historic Places is the official list of historic buildings, structures, and property that the country deems worthy of preservation. We are honored to provide awareness, limited protection and, in some cases, financial incentives for important property such as Blackwall Street. The video above for the full story.

The list covers 100 blocks on North Greenwood Avenue in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Prior to the Tulsa race 100 years ago, the area was a prosperous black community.

The National Register of Historic Places is the official list of historic buildings, structures, and property that the country deems worthy of preservation.

It is an honor to provide recognition, limited protection and, in some cases, financial incentives to critical assets such as Blackwall Street.
