    Michael Rosenbaum, 76, from Pahoa was missing. His body, found on Saturday at MacKenzie State Recreation Area in Puna, was identified today.

Hawaii County Police today identified the body of a man found in Mackenzie State Recreation Area in Puna on Saturday as Pahoa’s 76-year-old Michael Rosenbaum.

Rosenbaum was reported missing on July 24, and was reportedly seen last alive in the town of Pahoa on July 22.

Police classified the case as a second murder.

Police have called the police emergency number (808) to anyone who may have information related to this investigation, or who may have seen Rosenbaum between July 22nd and 24th.
