Albuquerque, New Mexico (KRQE) – Albuquerque police report an early Saturday morning accident in the southwestern part of the town that injured and killed motorcyclists. Around 2 am, APD responded to a motorcycle call that collided with a sedan at the intersection of 98th Avenue and Tower Road southwest.

Officials say the sedan moved south on the 98th and turned to Demi Road to the east. The sedan reportedly turned to the front of the motorcyclist and the motorcycle collided with the vehicle. Police say the motorcyclist was kicked out of the motorcycle and wasn’t wearing a helmet. The motorcyclist was taken to the University of New Mexico Hospital and died of an injury.
