Avon, Ohio (WJW) – Avon High School Is the latest in northeastern Ohio to keep students home due to a threat to the campus.
Avon Police told FOX8 that the bomb threat had been emailed to high school Wednesday morning.
Police are detaining the person who sent the email for interrogation.
The school was closed due to precautionary measures.
The policeman is on the scene with the bomb dog.
Police say there is no evidence that the school poses a real threat, but they are at the scene of the investigation.
Several school districts in northeastern Ohio have been affected by recent threats.
