Highland Park, Illinois — Judges have denied detention of a suspect who killed seven people and injured several others in Highland Park.

Robert “Bobby” Climo III, 21 years old Indicted with 7 counts of one murder on tuesday. Officials said he sprayed more than 70 rounds from the rooftop to the crowd attending the July 4th parade at Highland Park. The prosecution said he reloaded the weapon three times.

Lake County lawyer Eric Reinhardt said that if Klimo was convicted of first-class murder, he would be sentenced to life imprisonment without the possibility of parole. He promised that dozens more charges would be required.

Climo went to the bond court, where the judge rejected the bond, virtually Wednesday morning. A press conference official said the motive was still unknown.
