Boston Archaeology asks public for help identifying mysterious artifact found at Paul Revere House – Boston News, Weather, Sports – Boston, Massachusetts

Boston (WHDH)-Boston Archeology is open to the public seeking assistance in identifying recently discovered mysterious relics on the grounds of the Paul Revere House in the North End.

Archaeologists say they believe that small items may be parts that were once used in watches, locks, or plumbing.

“The irregular cutouts between the teeth give the atmosphere of possible gear (clock or lock?) Or plumbing hardware,” Boston Archeology said in a tweet. “Does anyone know what this is?”

This object was excavated by archaeologists working on the property of the Libyan House.
