Boston (WHDH) -Boston police began an investigation after one person was injured in a daytime shooting that led to a car accident on Tuesday, officials said.
According to Boston police, police officers responded to reports of multiple ammunition fires in the Rockland Street area around 1:30 pm when a person suffering from ammunition leaned against a sidewalk pole and covered with ammunition. I found that my car was injured.
Victims whose names were not disclosed were taken to a local hospital. There were no immediate words about their condition.
The video from SKY7 HD showed evidence markers on the street and took a picture of a black Accura sedan that looks like a photographer turning the road and hitting a parked car.
Neighbors say they could see Acura speeding up around the corner before it crashed and rested on the sidewalk.
“I happened to look out the window and saw a car flying around the corner,” said Michelle Baker, who lives near the crash site. “A car crashed into a pole in front of the house next to me.”
Baker said he heard some ammunition ringing shortly before the crash.
Investigators were found collecting evidence, picking up the shell case, and taped it next to the hole in Acura’s ammunition.
According to police, there have been no arrests related to the shooting.
There were no additional details available out of the box.
