Columbus, Ohio (AP) – Authorities say a 4-year-old Ohio boy and a 3-year-old girl picked up an adult pistol and injured the girl when she was discharged.
Columbus police said they were called home after 3 pm on Friday and found a girl with a gunshot wound.
She was taken to the hospital and listed in a stable condition.
Police said they later learned that two children had obtained an adult defenseless gun and one bullet was fired at the victims.
The case is under investigation and anyone with information will be asked to call a police felony assault unit.
