Denver — An aviation-themed brewery opens a location at the former Stapleton International Airport Control Tower in the Central Park area.
FlyteCo Brewing plans to open a brewpub in the summer of 2022 in a historic building adjacent to the iconic 164-foot tower.
This location maintains many of the current elements installed by the Punch Bowl Social, which previously occupied the building. This includes bowling alleys, karaoke rooms, mini golf and more.
Two of FlytCo’s three owners are pilots, and 10% of their profits benefit the future of aviation through scholarships and donations to youth involvement, making it a veteran-focused organization. Also benefits.
Before the 2017 Punch Bowl Social, the building that was once used as Denver’s central airport was vacant for 20 years.
