General Motors has rolled out BrightDrop to move further into the first-to-end product, software, and services business for delivery and logistics.

Reducing package touchpoints and costs, the EP1 operates up to 3 mph, maneuvers in tight spaces, features 23 cubic feet of cargo carrying capacity, 200 lbs of payload capacity, and lockable doors.

BrightDrop’s second big idea is the EV600. This is a lamp delivery vehicle that offers zero emissions and the safety and convenience features more commonly found in consumer EVs. The EV600 is powered by a 250-mile range Ultium battery system and delivers a peak charge rate of up to 170 miles per hour with a 120kW DC fast charge. With a cargo area of ​​over 600 cubic feet, the EV600 is available for GVWRs under £ 10,000.
