The incident occurred around 12:30 pm on September 16, shortly after police were sent to Mary C. Torah’s home to call a 911 dispatcher.

Police reported that Torah called 911 several times, yelled at the dispatcher and began to curse him. The neighbor also called the police saying that Torah was trying to get a car from another neighbor.

She didn’t open the door when the police first arrived at her house. The policeman walked around the house and then returned to the door. After a while, he realized that his cruiser was gone.

According to reports, Torah escaped through another door, saying, “I boarded a police car through an open window.”

She led the police with a short chase. When the policeman was able to stop the vehicle, she got off the cruiser and ran.

According to police, she was running straight toward an oncoming vehicle on the I-77 North. Police officers were able to arrest her before she was injured.

Tolar was taken to the hospital for evaluation.

Public debt was set at $ 25,000, according to Parma City Court records. She will soon return to court to face the accusation.
