Broken Arrow, Oklahoma — Before the fall semester, there is ongoing effort to vaccinate more students and staff in the Tulsa Metro area.
Broken Arrow Public School has partnered with the St. Francis Health System to provide the COVID-19 vaccine to school staff, patrons, students, and their families. This district is a state-of-the-art green country district that provides vaccines to students and staff.
Wednesday’s event is Broken Arrow’s 701 S Main St. It will be held at the Broken Arrow Performing Arts Center in Tokyo. The event starts at 10am and ends at 2pm.
District managers told 2News that vaccination of as many qualified students as possible by the fall semester is a priority. They say it will help keep classroom students and school staff safe.
“We don’t want to go back to school from the beginning. We want to be ahead of last year. Adam J. Foreman, Director of Public Relations at BAPS, said:
Students under the age of 18 will need a parent or guardian for vaccination. Parents or parents must also fill out a consent form before students can take pictures. The Wednesday event will run in parallel with the second event on July 28th for people to get booster shots.
