Buehler, Kansas (KSNW) — Two months and one day when Nickerson cheerleader Hadley Nelson died of cancer, her hometown of Nikkerson and Buehler paid homage to the women’s basketball game. “Out” was held.

“It was entirely their idea,” explained Nickerson’s cheerleader coach Bailey Gorges. “This is surprisingly kind and very grateful. It just means a lot and I can’t thank them enough.”

D’Ana Heinlein is the head coach of Buehler’s cheerleader as well as a nurse at Nickerson’s school. That’s exactly what Heinlein met with Hadley.

“When many girls talk about community members who know her from an early age, it doesn’t matter if they’re from Nickerson and Buehler. We’re one community,” Ha. Said inline.

Heinlein and others have decided to do something to remember Hadley, the gesture that Buehler’s cheerleader team wanted for everything.

“”[Heinlein] This was so hard that we thought we could all get together and help this family, “said Buehler cheerleader Kershi Span.

No one knew how popular gold shirts were.

They sold nearly 500.

“I thought it was the Student Affairs Division, but everyone supported me. It spiraled until it was bigger than I had expected,” Heinlein said.
