Although the arena had a limited capacity, the organizers say it’s great to see a large audience again at the stands.

“At its best, humans vs. beasts. Combine it with pyro, light, rock’n’roll music and jam packs and play it in two and a half hours of non-stop action. We play to the audience all year round. I miss the fans. If you miss the whole arena, you’ll get there and all the markets you go to will get better and better, “said Robert Simpson, General Manager of Pendleton Whiskey Velocity Tour.

The shootout also took place on Saturday night at 7:30 pm and tickets are said to be still available.

Mano Elite Souza Junior (Itamira, Brazil) Hunter ball (Carsonville, Michigan) dominated Friday night within the American Bank Center, tying a Round 1 victory at the BucDays PBR Chute Out presented by Coastal Bend Chevy Dealers.

Only 8 out of 45 competing riders have reached the required 8 seconds.

Souza and Ball have created a matching score of 87.5 points.

The rodeo continues on Saturday night at the American Bank Center.
