“Hot dog races, trivia quizzes, choosing old players on video boards, what we enjoyed at the stadium,” says Zack Fraser. “Fans can watch the game on TV, so they can do it through the second screen experience, or they can participate in these traditional Game Day experiences via apps and tablets.”
The title of this app is Fresno State Bulldogs and you can download it to your Apple or Android device. This is a way to keep your fans connected even if they aren’t physically inside the stadium.
“Live trivia, a scoreboard that tracks who won and scored more points in this trivia experience,” Fraser said. “What is our record of wearing a red helmet on red? If it takes 30 seconds to answer a question, it will be a prize associated with it. It’s not a perfect world, but we all live in it. It’s the world we’re in. “

In April, Fresno State University hosted a virtual tailgate that recorded nearly a million impressions. Bulldog fans shared a photo of the flag flying and cheering on the dog.
Through the app, Fraser says it can happen every Saturday when everyone shares their homegating settings and tailgates from home.
“We can do push notifications. We recorded a touchdown. You are not in the stadium. You are going to do the push notifications we just recorded,” he says. I did.
This app is designed to be used 365 days a year. That is, push notifications and updates from athletics are used in all sports.
“This year we’ve been trained with our fans and now we can use them to get our fan base accustomed to it,” Fraser said. “Next year, not only will 30,000 people return to the stadium, but now we can do digital fun with our customers.”
The state also encourages fans to pack cardboard cutouts into the stadium. You can submit your photo, and who knows, you may be sitting next to some famous graduates.

Another new addition to Game Day is the Bulldog Mobile Road Crew. Similar to ESPN’s College Game Day Bus, a huge bus runs down the street the day before each game.
“A van of Fresno State Bulldogs is running around the town. We have a time-out and have the opportunity to take pictures with the mascot and receive some gifts from our partners,” Fraser said. “Imagine the joy of a little parade, a parade of one car, but a parade through the town whistles and excites people on the day of the game.”
