Buncombe County, NC (WSPA) – An agent is looking for two people in Buncombe County who want to steal their email.

After a month-long investigation by the Buncombe County Sheriff’s Office, the two suspects face multiple charges related to mail theft and credit card fraud.

The sheriff’s office has charged Wesley Brian McClary with the following charges:

  • 2 counterfeit count
  • 2 counts of counterfeit
  • 1 Count of misdemeanor theft
  • 1 count of financial card theft
  • Count of 1 felony financial card transactions
  • Theft of one personal information
  • 1 Number of cases where the return of the rental property felony failed
  • 1 Number of stolen goods
  • 1 Number of cases in which property was acquired by pretending to be false

And Queen Angela Michel of Clyde has been charged with the following charges:

  • 2 counterfeit count
  • 2 counts of counterfeit
  • 1 Number of misdemeanor thefts
  • 1 count of financial card theft
  • Count of 1 felony financial card transactions

The two suspects are still numerous, but the detectives do not believe the suspects are violent. Sheriff offices have reason to believe they may be in the Clyde or Hendersonville area.

The agent says the suspect is primarily responsible for stealing email in the Old Fort Road area of ​​Fairview. The suspect took credit cards and checks from stolen mail and used them illegally in local stores. Property crime detectives executed a search warrant at a company on Swanna Nano Aliver Road, leading to accusations against McClary and Queen.

“This investigation is a good example of our detective skills and work ethic,” said Captain John Redford of the Criminal Investigation Division.

The Buncombe County Sheriff’s Office would like to thank the members of the community for the many tips and photos that have greatly contributed to this investigation and urge the community to remain vigilant for mail theft. Remember to empty your mailbox every day, and if possible, avoid mailing checks from their mailbox overnight, they said.
