“I missed something like an atmosphere where more employees and more people were just walking around and stuffing things,” she said.
Not all businesses on K Street near DOCO are returning to outdoor dining. It’s very quiet on Tuesday afternoon, and some are still preparing, just hours after the curfew was lifted.
Drone13 flew over R Street, showing that the restaurant tent was ready for the customer. In Roseville, coffee is brewed at Figtree Coffee, an art and music lounge, one of Mama’s and Pop’s coffee shops in downtown Roseville. I sat outside with a cup and came back.

“It’s great to be able to offer that aspect of our service again,” said owner Joshua Ricker.
For the Cornerstone Cafe and Bar in West Sacramento, there has never been a better time to lift the curfew. The same day that the restaurant is finishing the outdoor patio, and the same day that the outdoor dining is back.
“It’s a coincidence that we end today, and it’s definitely a coincidence that we’ve received the exciting news that it will resume,” said John Martinez.
New energy is being felt throughout the Greater Sacramento region and some companies are ready to continue their services.
“So it’s slowly getting there,” Anne said.
