From August 1st to August 2nd, the suspect stole more than 75 envelopes containing residents’ rent payments in all three locations.

Police in Spartanberg have released a surveillance video of the suspect wearing a white striped pattern, a white hat, and a black adidas hoodie with glasses.

Investigators believe he was driving a dark SUV, perhaps a Jeep Cherokee, when the suspect left the scene.

Timber Creek Apartments and Roland Management are temporarily closing Dropbox, asking clients to physically hand over payments directly to office staff.

“This is people’s hard earned money, their livelihood, and now their rent is scarce. It’s just for us because we have to go through the process of swapping money to pay the rent. It’s not, and it’s difficult for the population, “said Susan Medlin, property manager at Timber Creek. Apartment.

Timber Creek Apartments and Roland Management said they were in the process of identifying which clients were affected by the theft and they were very generous and would help them get their money back.

“You won’t be charged late fees or kicked out. Understanding all of this will be a long process. I hope the community keeps an eye on this guy,” Medlin said. I did.

If you have information about the suspect, please call the Spartanburg Police Station (864-596-2065) or the Crime Stopper (888-CRIME-SC).
