California has lowest COVID-19 case rate in US – Fresno, California

Fresno, California 2021-09-20 14:33:00 –

California has the lowest COVID-19 case rate in the United States, according to a tweet from the Governor’s Office.

“More than 70% of Californians have been vaccinated at least once. Keep doing that, California-Vaccine.” Tweet said..

According to the latest CDC data, California has the lowest 7-day case rate per 100,000 people in the United States, with approximately 110 new cases in 7 days per 100,000 people. In the United States as a whole, nearly three times as many new cases as in California, with just under 300 new cases occurring in seven days per 100,000 people. Maryland has the second lowest case rate of 143, and Connecticut has 152.

“We are not the most vaccinated state,” said Dr. Karsten Bibins Domingo, chair of the UCSF Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics. Told the San Francisco Chronicle.. “But we are also a state that has not completely abandoned other mitigation methods.”

Masks are required at schools, hospitals and public transport. In counties such as Los Angeles, masks are needed indoors.

Alaska, West Virginia, and Tennessee are the three worst states with 691, 762, and 783 cases per 100,000, respectively.

Within California, CDC data show the lowest incidence of the Bay Area. In the counties of Marin, Santa Clara, Santa Cruz, and San Francisco, the total number of cases in seven days is less than 80 per 100,000. Fares for the Orange, Ventura, and Los Angeles counties range from approximately 105 to 150, while rates for the San Bernardino and Riverside counties range from 159 and 162, respectively. These are higher than the overall rate of the state, but far from the overall rate of the United States.

Meanwhile, South Carolina has set a record for COVID-19 hospitalization, with new cases approaching peak levels last winter.

Since the South Carolina emergency declaration ended on June 7, Republican Governor Henry McMaster has said that children are at school, even if the state’s new incidents surge from an average of 150 to more than 5,000 a day. He insists that only parents should decide whether to wear a mask.

Today, teachers, students and parents are forced to return nearly 20 schools and the entire two districts to online learning within a month of more young people signing up for fallout and returning directly. Because of this, it suffers from fallout.

State health and education officials say the state-wide mask ban at schools has robbed one of the best tools to stop the spread of COVID-19. The state struck approximately 2,600 COVID-19 patients admitted in early September.
“Football surged too fast. Instead of continuing to listen to medical professionals and interpreting the data, we were led to the issue of the Republican Governor’s Association,” said Democratic Senator Marlon Kimpson of Charleston.

Wyoming is one of the states with the highest incidence, with 659 cases per week per 100,000 inhabitants. Reported by San Francisco Chronicle, And only half of residents over the age of 18 are fully vaccinated-tracking all states except West Virginia.

In Arizona, more than 100 deaths from the coronavirus were reported daily for the second time since February.

108 confirmed deaths and 2,742 new cases of coronavirus were reported on Saturday. Hospitalizations fell below 2,000 for the first time in almost three weeks, with 1,981 COVID-19 patients occupying beds on Friday.

This is down from the current high of 2,103 on September 11th.
