California reported on February 21 a reduction in 3,495 new cases, 228 new deaths and 149 hospitalizations – Press Telegram – Long Beach, California

A total of 3,495 new cases of coronavirus at the end of the day from the California Public Health website on Sunday, February 21 reported a total of 3,509,219 cases in the state.

The total number of new cases for 14 days was 8,188, a decrease of 80.6% from the January 1 high of 42,268.

There were 228 new deaths reported on Sunday, with a total of 49,340 deaths from the virus in California.

The number of people in need of hospital treatment was 7,165, a decrease of 68.7% from the January 1 high of 22,853.
