Las Vegas (FOX5)-Pre-Joe Biden recently announced the obligation for a new COVID-19 vaccine amid a surge in delta variants. This includes the obligation that companies with more than 100 employees must request vaccination of their employees or undergo weekly testing.

Washington (AP) — President Joe Biden has announced a new “Action Plan” plan to confront….

Biden has ordered some industries, such as federal-funded medical facilities, to be vaccinated without the COVID-19 test option to opt out.

As federal unemployment benefits expire and more people return to the workforce, many may opt for jobs that do not require vaccines. But if a company needs a vaccine and chooses not to take it, can they lose their unemployment allowance?

A spokesman for the Nevada Department of Employment and Training Rehabilitation (DETR) said it depends on the billing situation.

Heidi Saucedo of DETR said the agency will evaluate all claims on a case-by-case basis and in the same way as if someone deliberately violated the employer’s policy.

“DETR analyzes whether discharge for non-compliance with vaccine requirements is illegal, or whether discontinuation due to vaccine requirements is justified,” Saucedo said. “Examine the employer’s policies, the nature of the work being done, the claimant’s personal situation, and other relevant facts to determine justification.”

President Joe Biden’s unapproved reaction: “Have it.”

Some Republican governors have vowed to challenge new orders from the Biden administration in court.
