Judge Susan Baker Ross of the Summit County Common Petition Court sentenced 37-year-old Sean Allen to life imprisonment for murdering 43-year-old Horace Lee and Lee’s 21-month-old daughter, Azalea Tucker. I handed it over.

According to investigators, Allen and Lee began a fight outside a restaurant on East Exchange Street in Akron on July 12, 2020. Lee was with her daughter at the time.

After a quarrel, investigators say Lee ran away, pushing her daughter into a stroller. Allen then chased them and hit them in his car on a driveway on Cruz Street. Akron police said it was intentional.

Both died of injury.

“This was one of the worst cases we’ve ever experienced. Shawn Allen targeted Horace and his daughter and deliberately beat them with his SUV,” he said. Prosecutor Walsh said. “Allen needs to spend the rest of his life in jail.”

On May 26, a Summit County jury admitted that Allen was found guilty of three worsening murders, two murders, and falsification of evidence.

Allen is eligible for parole after working for 63 years.
