Richland County, South Carolina (WSPA) – The Sheriff’s Office in Richland County, South Carolina said on Tuesday that it had up-to-date with the public about the deaths of twin boys earlier this month and that no charges have been filed. ..
We previously reported that an agent responded to Wilson Boulevard outside the Sunshine House Early Learning Academy shortly after 5:30 pm on September 2. According to the CBS series WLTX. According to reports, two babies were found to be unresponsive in the car. Both were declared dead on the scene.
Coroner Naida Rutherford identified the dead children as Bryson and Braden McDaniel. They were 20 months old, WLTX reported. “We have two very distraught parents,” Rutherford said at the time.
After a three-week investigation, the RCSD and the coroner’s office held a press conference on Tuesday, saying the law firm had decided not to prosecute.
According to RCSD Sheriff Leon Lot, the children’s father thought he had dropped them off for day care before going to work. When he returned, he noticed that they were left in the car.
Lot states that his father is under a lot of work stress and the incident is a “tragic and horrific accident.”
“This is the worst nightmare for parents,” said Sheriff Lot. “Everyone involved in this incident was impressed with it … I just ask people to pray. This family needs prayer, their lives are never the same.”
The RCSD, Richland County Coroner Office and Solicitor Office investigated the case.
