ST. Louis (KMOV.com)-Busch Stadium’s capacity will soon increase, and Cardinals also announced on Tuesday that the club has partnered with the St. Louis City Health Department, which hosts three vaccine clinics this week.
The Cardinal says it has been approved by the city’s health authorities to increase capacity from May 21st, just in time for the first home series against the Cubs. The new rules allow seat pods to be at least 3 feet apart to double capacity. Additional tickets for the three game series to the Cubs are currently on sale. Details on when tickets for the June home game will be sold will be decided and announced at a later date.
The team will also host a vaccine clinic within the Cardinal Club starting Wednesday. The dates and times are as follows.
- Wednesday, May 12th and Thursday, May 13th: 9 am-4pm
- Friday, May 14: 9 am-4pm
Anyone vaccinated at the stadium will receive two free vouchers for this season’s game. Free parking for vaccine events will be provided to Starlot, directly opposite Gate 2, the same gate that participants must enter. Pfizer and Johnson & Johnson vaccines will be provided.
