Tidelands Health and Carolina Country Music Fest have partnered to offer free on-site COVID-19 vaccination and testing for next week’s Myrtle Beach Festival.
The health system manages rapid COVID-19 testing and COVID-19 vaccines with representatives from the South Carolina Health and Environment Administration and the South Carolina Guard.
CCMF will start Thursday and will be headlined by Luke Combs, Eric Church, Darius Lacquer, Jake Owen and 30 more artists. Some performers, including Rucker, Church and Ashley McBryde, are vocal supporters of COVID-19 vaccination.
“Tidelands Health is committed to helping people enjoy the Safe Carolina Country Music Festival,” said Jason Self, Operations Director at Tidelands Health. “The availability of a quick test of COVID-19 allows participants to ensure that they are healthy before the music begins.
In addition, providing on-site vaccinations will make it easier for people to get vaccinated now and prepare for a safe and enjoyable summer. “
Any free vaccinations and tests are available at CCMF Will Call at 904 Chester Street, Myrtle Beach, from Monday, June 7th to Friday, June 11th, from 10am to 4pm. Both Pfizer and Johnson & Johnson vaccines will be available. People between the ages of 12 and 17 will be vaccinated with the Pfizer vaccine.
Festival attendees who wish to be tested and / or vaccinated do not need to make a reservation.
Bob Derkin, Chairman of the Carolina Country Music Fest, said: “Their expertise and abundant resources make vaccination and testing easy, easy and convenient for anyone planning to attend next weekend.”
In addition, Tidelands Health, the official health system for the Carolina Country Music Fest, will share video messages throughout the festival and encourage participants to be vaccinated with the COVID-19 vaccine to protect themselves and others.
The Tidelands Health Examination and Immunization Center is not a long-term care facility. People who are ill or have some symptoms of illness should be treated at a medical institution. If you need emergency assistance, you will need to call 911.
