The Colorado Department of Transportation is calling on drivers to be aware of the closure of Interstate Highway 70 in the Denver region this weekend.
The I-70 lane closure is between Interstate 225 and Chambers Road from 10 pm on Friday, October 11th to 5 am on Monday. It will be closed during this period as well.
CDOT said in a news release that the driver would leave the westbound Chambers Road off-ramp and return to the I-70 through the westbound I-70 on-ramp. To the east, exit at Airport Boulevard, head north, then west on I-70 and exit at Chambers Road. The driver on Peoria Street heads north on Peoria Street, then west on I-70, exits at Havana Street, heads south on Havana Street, and then heads east on I-70.
