To commemorate Minority Mental Health Month, the Wellness and Clinical Development Center will host its second annual State of Black Mental Health event. The Virtual Dialog will take place on July 28, 2021 from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm via Zoom and will feature a courageous conversation about the mental health of the black community.
The event will focus on a panel of experts and, through their profession, will facilitate the coveted dialogue about the trauma facing African Americans as a result of untreated mental health. The discussion will focus on areas where mental health challenges are more prevalent, such as education, criminal justice, and child welfare. Participants can register for the event for free https://www.leadclinically.com/community-events.
