Fresno, CA (KFSN)-A storm across Central California has caused some houseboats to be moored at Lake Cavea Marina, damaging some.

The photos shared by ABC30 Insider show some houseboats piled up by the dam.

You can see the boats packed together, broken debris floating and some of them on their side.

Action News has learned that at least eight boats are underwater.

According to the Turea County Sheriff’s Office, the agent scrutinized the boat to make sure no one was in the boat.

Three agencies are working together: the Sheriff’s Office, the Fish and Wildlife Service, and the US Army Corps of Engineers.

Authorities say the boats must be pulled out one by one with respect to the following:

On Wednesday morning, Central California saw lightning in a strong wind. It is still possible that there will be intense isolated storms throughout the day.
